Shanahan to Ducks?
This theory has about as much substance to it as a Honda Center hot dog, but the New York Post floats the idea that Brian Burke is interested in signing 39-year-old winger Brendan Shanahan.
On the one hand, he might be the perfect complement to Bobby Ryan on the second line. Then again, that's what they were saying about Doug Weight last December. Chew on the thought but don't swallow - I know how NY Post "rumors" start and, while they're not always completely invalid, it's far more sizzle than steak.
