Makway gets two-game suspension

The ECHL suspended Las Vegas Wranglers defenseman Steve Makway two games today for his role in the game-ending melee at Citizens Business Bank Arena on Sunday. Makway will miss games tonight and Friday against the Alaska Aces.

Makway was central to the brawl that negated Jon Rheault's third goal of the game and sent Jon Francisco into the locker room needing stitches.

Comments

Hmmm. another wrangler dust up last nite. It appears to me that they run their organization like Elimira does. Having watched enough of Elmira's antics perhaps the Weanglers should move to the north division in the American conference. Sure does get the blood boiling though.
