Closing arguments today in Honey Jordan trial in San Bernardino

Prosecutors confirmed that closing arguments in the trial for suspects charged in the deadly shooting of Hannah "Honey" Jordan are scheduled for this morning in San Bernardino Superior Court.

Defendant Hector Miguel Aguirre is charged with carjacking and killing Jordan in a doughnut store parking lot on Highland Avenue, in San Bernardino, on New Years Eve 2001.

Lawyers are each side are expected to present a closing argument, after the judge briefly gives the jury insructions on the law applying to the case. Proceedings are scheduled to begin at 10:30 a.m., according to court records.

Jordan is the wife of local well-known neurologist Dr. Kennth Jordan.
