Lawyers in the case put over the proceedings to Sept. 24 for a status hearing, confirmed Deputy District Attorney Lynn Poncin.
Miller was arrested July 3 and charged with 24 counts of child molestation and possession of child pornography.
Miller worked in San Bernardino's parks department from 1999 until his arrest July 3. Since 2006, he supervised recreational activities at the city's first Operation Phoenix community center.
He is on unpaid administrative leave, which became effective the same day as his arrest.
