Update: Bloomington teen to get prison for pit bull attack

I just spoke with Deputy District Attorney Adam Pierce in Fontana regarding the plea bargain for Paul Hicklin III in the Bloomington pit bull attack that left an 8-year-old boy seriously wounded.
I blogged about the plea last week, but at the time, we didn't know how much time Hicklin would be facing. Well, now we do.
When Hicklin appears for sentencing on Sept. 25 in Fontana Superior Court, he is expected to recieve a four-year sentence in state prison, Pierce confirmed. While Judge Stephan Saleson presided over the plea bargain, Judge Jon Ferguson is expected to conduct the sentencing.
