Hearing this week for deadly shooting stemming from Rialto bar fight
A man suspected of fatally shooting 25-year-old Rosa Angela Trigo following a fight at El Patio bar in Rialto is scheduled for a preliminary hearing Thursday in San Bernardino Superior Court.
Andres Landeros Garcia, 23, appeared in court Tuesday as lawyers confirmed the dates for the hearing. Prosecutors reported the Thursday hearing date.
At a preliminary hearing, prosecutors will present some evidence and testimony to support the charges filed against Garcia. A judge will then determine if sufficient evidence has been presented to hold over the defendant for trial.

Garcia faces charges of murder, attempted murder and assault with a firearm on a person, according to court records.
Garcia was arrested in January by agents from U.S. Customs and Border Protection when he tried to enter the United States at the San Ysidro border crossing. He had spent 20 months on the run for the deadly shooting of the San Bernardino woman.
San Bernardino detectives say Garcia, and his brother Robert Landeros Garcia, were involved in the shooting of Trigo.
Trigo and at least one other companion had been at El Patio bar, in Rialto, when a fight erupted on Apr. 17, 2006. She left the bar sometime after 2 a.m., and got into a car as a passenger.
Minutes later, a Hummer pulled alongside the car carrying Trigo in the 1900 block of West Fifth Street, in San Bernardino. Someone in the Hummer opened fire, according to police. Trigo was struck and died at the scene.
Robert Garcia pleaded guilty to assault with a deadly weapon with an added enhancement of personal use of a firearm and was sentenced in August 2007, according to court records. He is serving a six-year sentence in state prison.
