Prosecutors are reviewing a case against a 17-year-old suspected drunk driver who crashed in September, killing her passenger.

The Barstow girl, who has not been identified, was arrested on suspicion of driving under the influence. Barstow police recommended a gross vehicular manslaughter charge.

Dusty Cox, 20, died in the Sept. 12 crash on Lenwood Road just west of the 15 Freeway off-ramp. The girl apparently lost control of the vehicle and slammed into a power pole.
