Search is on for missing San Dimas woman, 81

Sheriff's deputies are looking for a missing 81-year-old San Dimas woman who has Alzheimer's disease.

Aida Paucarcaja was last seen at 9 a.m. Tuesday at her daughter's home on Gramercy Drive in Los Angeles, according to a Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department news release.

Paucarcaja, also known as Elena Fernandez, is 5-feet and weighs 100 pounds. She has brown hair, brown eyes and speaks only Spanish.

She was last seen wearing a pink flowered dress, a beige jacket, and blue slippers, according to the news release.

Anyone with information about Paucarcaja is urged to call the sheriff's Homicide Bureau, Missing Person's Detail, (323) 890-5500.
