Ontario man to be arraigned Thursday on rape, sodomy charges

A 28-year-old Ontario man is scheduled to re-enter pleas Thursday in West Valley Superior Court to 14 felony sex crimes.

Rudy Dalton Beltran is accused of raping a 14-year-old girl and carrying on a consensual sexual relationship with a 16-year-old girl before his arrest in August. He faces up to 56 years in prison if convicted on all counts.

Prosecutors filed seven additional charges against Beltran after a preliminary hearing last month. At the hearing, both alleged victims testified about Beltran's alleged crimes.
