Men plead not guilty to murder charges

Two men charged with murder for a December shooting death pleaded not guilty to criminal charges this morning in Pomona Superior Court.

Albert Matthew Sandoval, 21, and Jose Luis Gutierrez, 16, are accused of killing 24-year-old Miguel Martin on Dec. 5, 2008 in a market parking lot in the 1100 block of West Mission Boulevard.

A jury trial in the case was set for July 29.
