RANCHO CUCAMONGA -- Two Rialto men have pleaded not guilty to five counts of attempted murder filed following a shooting last weekend at a Rancho Cucamonga bar.

Jabari Boyd, 25, and Richard Earl Gardenhire II, 23, entered not guilty pleas Thursday via video link from a local jail to West Valley Superior Court.

Both remained jailed Friday in lieu of $2 million bail at West Valley Detention Center in Rancho Cucamonga.

Boyd and Gardenhire are accused of shooting five people following an argument in the early morning of Oct. 18 at the Beer Mug, 12809 Foothill Blvd.

Four of the people shot were treated at local hospitals and released, and a fifth remained in critical condition Wednesday. Updated information on the condition of the hospitalized man was not immediately available.

Boyd and Gardenhire are scheduled to return to court Wednesday for a routine pre-preliminary conference.
