Five plead not guilty in triple-slaying case
POMONA -- Five people pleaded not guilty this morning in Pomona Superior Court to charges that they participated in an extensive local crime spree that included three alleged gang killings.
Robert Louis Caballero, 32, is charged with three counts of murder and numerous additional crimes for his alleged role in the killings last year of Armando Vidana, Lorraine Majnarez, and David Padilla.
The other four defendants are Andrew Angel Valenzuela, Jessica Prendiz, Pete Trejo and Anthony Caballero.
The five defendants remained jailed without the possibility of bail, and some of the defendants could face the death penalty if convicted, said Deputy District Attorney Bjorn Dodd.
Prosecutors will decide whether to seek the death penalty after a preliminary hearing, which is now scheduled for March 19, Dodd said.

IF THEY WERE SO NOT GULTIY THAN THEY WOULDNT BE IN JAIL WAITING FOR THEIR TRIAL. AND THEY WOULD BE ACUSSED I THINK THEY SHOULD FRY
Look I don't know if this defendants are gulity or not, just because they are in jail doesn't make them gulity it just means that they are not some wealthy white kids that have a daddy to put the money up to get them out while waiting for they trail.
What happen to innocent until proven gulity??? no wonder are prisons are busting at the seams with 1/3 of are population behind bars. Maybe you should wait until all the facts are in before giving out your opinions.
