REV player commits

Redlands East Valley volleyball star Tori Brummett has made an oral commitment to Colorado State, Brummett's mother Elizabeth Brock told the Prep-dog.

The development didn't surprise REV coach Tricia Vansant.

“She really came along during the club season,” Vansant said. “She played for us quite a bit last season and then played on a club team that finished fourth at Reno. She was a consistent leader for them.”

Brummett played for the Rancho Valley 16-1's volleyball club team during the off-season. She excelled at a volleyball camp earlier this month, then committed last week to Colorado State, her mother said.

Everyone knows that Redlands is going to smoke REV this year in volleyball. In fact, I think it's going to be a clean sweep of RHS over those dorks from Mentone.
