The dog is licking his wounds after Friday night's forecasting follies. It was 13 up and eight down for the canine - a far cry from the 24-3 of a week ago. A Big Bear victory today against Citrus Hill would improve that only slightly.

The dog picked the Bell Game correctly and REV to pummel Compton Dominguez. I correctly called a third consecutive Ike win, though I didn't know the Eagles would also take Norte Vista's lunch money.

But Kaiser loses again? Colton gets lost in the desert? Cardinal City rises up?

Who knew? Certainly not the dog.

Saturday morning now ... I'm off to Prep-kid's soccer game. I'd forecast the winner, but team mom Amber says the score is not kept at the under-8 level.
