New county volleyball rankings

| | Comments (5)

The new sbsun.com/prepdog volleyball rankings, like the dark clouds and O.J.'s bail bondsman, have arrived.

Upland has had some injuries and stumbled a few times against high-powered competition. The losses have dropped the Highlanders out of the prepvolleyball.com Top 100 national rankings, but they are still the top dogs in San Bernardino County.
The list:
1. Upland
2. Rancho Cucamonga
3. Los Osos
4. Redlands East Valley
5. Ayala
6. Alta Loma
7. Rim of the World
8. Sultana
9. Arrowhead Christian
9. Ontario Christian
10. Redlands
Dropped out: Rialto.
Barking loudly: Big Bear, Granite Hills, Hesperia, Loma Linda Academy, Yucaipa.

That's it. Anyone overrated? Dis-respected? Convinced their daughter won't get a scholarship because a guy called Prep-dog didn't rank her team? Talk to me.

Very good rankings are we bold enough to try water polo, x-country, golf and tennis?

The dog will take that under advisement (I heard that once on L.A. Law).

But seriously, time probably does not permit ranking all fall sports. The dog occasionally needs to go for a walk, watch Prep-kid play soccer etc. For county rankings in each sport, I'd probably have to "Tom Sawyer it" - enlist someone to volunteer their services in doing the rankings. Now taking applications.

How do I coach a varsity fall sport? coach both of my kids ayso soccer teams, cook dinner, and find time to post here and do a poll....no excuses!

Yes, oh Great Exalted Seer ... but you do not have the rigorous TV- watching schedule that Prep-dog faces.
