Knox new Granite coach

Granite Hills has a new girls basketball coach.

Promoted from assistant coach was Val Knox, Cougars athletic director Carolyn Ruhm said.

Ruhm said former coach Brent Unferth will be busy tackling some personal projects.

The Cougars are also looking for a new boys and girls track and field coach, she said, noting the school has had a lot of success in boys and girls track.
