REV drops despite blowout win

Redlands East Valley defeated Carter 49-7 Friday night, yet fell one place in the maxpreps.com national football poll.

The Wildcats (8-0) are one of four Califonia teams ranked among the Top 20. The others are Mater Dei (No. 1), De La Salle (No. 3) and Corona Centennial (10).

The Wildcats also are No. 19 in the studentsports.com West Region rankings, after not being ranked last week.
