It will be a most unique homecoming for Yucaipa High School.

This afternoon Yucaipa athletic director Mark Anderson announced the Thunderbirds homecoming game with Fontana has been moved to 7 p.m. Friday at Palm Springs High School.

Anderson also said today the homecoming dance will be Saturday, as scheduled. The halftime homecoming festivities will be held Nov. 9 at the Carter game. And the homecoming bonfire rally will be Nov. 8, weather permitting.

"We're glad to get the game in on a Friday night," Anderson said. "There's been a lot of (upheavel) with all of the cancellations in our area, but we're pleased us and Fontana could work out a solution."
