Sodden thought

The dog waded through the several inches of water ringing the dirt Yucaipa running track and a thought struck me ... if it wasn't for the Field Turf, this game would be a muddy mess. Which also prompts the thought ... I wonder how many high schools in rainy Oregon and Washington have artificial turf? If they don't already have it, they're probably looking into it.

Of course, the coolest thing about Pacific Northwest football is those stadiums with the covered grandstands, a la Ashland, Or. They could use those covered stands at Yucaipa tonight.
