29 down by four at half

| | Comments (0)

The first half is already over ... it lasted 32 real-time minutes, which is good for Prep-dog's 10:15 p.m. deadline situation. I know you're concerned.

Valley Christian is leading 27-23. Harris came alive in the second quarter with seven points (nine for the game). Alston continues to play well off the bench as he tossed in another 3 and has nine points for the game.

But Valley is very well-drilled on offense and has a bunch of guys who can score, led by Kurtis Korver (seven points). On defense, Valley is ordinary and 29 has had lots of chances, but is pressing slightly. It also needs to find someone besides Harris and Alston who can score. Alston's ankle looks OK.
