Henderson dominant in octagon

| | Comments (0)

Former Victor Valley High School wrestling star Dan Henderson, who helped the Jackrabbits to the 1987 CIF-State title, continues to excel in Ultimate Fighting.

Henderson returns to the octagon in March to take on middleweight champion Anderson Silva at UFC 82 in Columbus, Ohio.

Henderson, who goes by the nicknames "Hendo" and "Hollywood," is the son of former Victor Valley College wrestling coach Bill Henderson.

Henderson competed for the U.S. in Greco-Roman wrestling in two Olympics. He is known for having a tough chin and for being good on the mat, as are most ex-wrestlers.

The 38-year-old lives in Temecula.
