Centennial's Burfict judged No. 9 in nation

| | Comments (0)

The mysterious FVSports has ranked the top 150 prep football players in the nation for the class of 2,009. A dude named Bryan Bonafede did the research. Prep-dog doesn't know anything about him ... could be a guy in a bar in Tarzana for all I know. His work can be viewed at fvsports.com.

Anyway, the only semi-local to make the grade is Corona Centennial linebacker Vontaze Burfict, who checks in at No. 9 on the list. The 6-2, 230-pounder is said to have his heart set on USC.

Oh, and by the way, Mater Dei quarterback Matt Barkley was judged to be numero uno.
