Claremont seeking boys basketball, swimming coach

| | Comments (0)

Patrick Johnson has resigned as the boys basketball coach at Claremont High School and has taken an assistant's job at Claremont McKenna College, athletic director Rick Dutton said.

Dutton said the school is currently advertising for a new coach.

"We're looking for the best coach available," Dutton said. "We have some good kids. There's no teaching position available, though."

Claremont went 8-20 last season.

Dutton said Claremont will also be seeking a swimming coach, following the recent announcement by Heather Lyn that she is taking a one-year leave of absence.
