Long Beach Poly No. 1, REV eighth in maxpreps.com state football rankings

Long Beach Poly (1-0) is ranked first in the maxpreps.com state rankings.

Corona Centennial (1-0) is ranked second and Concord De La Salle third.

The highest county team is Redlands East Valley (1-0), which is unranked in the calhisports.com Top 25 poll. The Wildcats check in at 11th.

Other ranked area teams are: Upland (13th), Temecula Chaparral (15th), Corona Santiago (18th) and Los Osos (22nd).
