How could you leave Angel Santiago, Etiwanda High, off this list....
This was a list compiled by calhisports.com. The Prep-dog is merely passing along the news. Calhisports.com is a division of ESPN.
How is Tyler Shreve on this list ahead of Brehaut?? Shreve has proven nothing, without last year's running game with Polk REV is a .500 team at best. Brehaut is a much better QB than Shreve at this level and the next level!!!
This is a partial list from calhisports.com. Interpreting its list, I had a different take on it. Brehaut was listed on the first team offense as an "athlete" - meaning he's multi-talented. Shreve made the second team offense as a quarterback. My perception is that Brehaut was more highly honored than Shreve. I don't know exactly what the folks at calhisports.com were thinking, but I suspect they tabbed one of the QBs as an "athlete" so that they could honor three quarterbacks instead of two.
Dont know how you could leave David Quiroga, Ayala High School, out of this after making the All San Bernardino County team last year as a junior. He lead the inland empire in receiving with 72 receptions and 12oo yards.
This team was compiled by calhisports.com. It is not a Sun team. I am merely publishing it on my blog.
Big mistake, David Quiroga from Ayala High School was left out. He made First Team All-Sierra League, First Team All-Inland Empire and some all county team as a Junior. Some of the players on the list dont compare with his stats.....
