Long Beach Poly (2-0) is No. 1 in the sectionsports.com CIF-SS football rankings.

Area teams which have cracked the rankings are:

2. Corona Centennial (2-0), 8. Redlands East Valley (2-0), 9. Temecula Chaparral (1-1), 11. Upland (3-0), 13. Corona Santiago (1-1), 14. Los Osos (1-0), 21. Vista Murrieta (3-0), 22. Moreno Valley Rancho Verde (3-0), 23. Riverside North (1-1).

An interesting game this week is Los Osos at Vista Murrieta.
