SCORE: Summit 31, Tahquitz 0

WHERE: AB Miller HS

RECORDS: Summit (2-0, 0-0) Tahquitz (0-1, 0-0)

WHAT HAPPEND: Although both teams came off 2-8 seasons; Summit controlled the game through a very strong defense, rarely letting Tahquitz past there own 50 yard line. Sophmore QB Devon Blackmon threw for 107 yards and 2 touch downs to lead the SkyHawks to victory. The Skyhawks have yet to give up a single point in 8 quarters of football this season.

STANDOUTS: Devon Blackmon of Summit threw for 107 yards and two touch downs while also rushing for a game high 75 yards. Isaac Cisneros had 5 catches form 90 yards and 1 TD. Montigo Alford chipped in with a TD on 35 yards rushing

KEY MOMENT: Devon Blackmon connected on a 55 yard pass play to Issac Cisneros to set up the 1st score in the opening quarter.

QUOTABLE: " Our defense is our veteran unit and they are the guys who we will look towards to win us ballgames as our offense matures." " Our goal is always to be in playoff contention, and if we can manage the highs and lows our young team will face, we have a great shot at getting there." Summit Head Coach

What happened to Fohi? It's like they're getting worst?! Get rid of Ozier and Vance. Good grief!!!

Fohi couldn't match Banning athleticly, they were bigger and had more depth but the Banning QB and kick returner were to much....
