Apple Valley's Nunez doing fine

| | Comments (0)

Here's some good news for Apple Valley football fans in the wake of Friday night's 40-27 loss at San Gorgonio: starting quarterback Arthur Nunez did not crack any ribs in the fourth quarter - they're just bruised - and will start on Friday against intra-district rival Granite HIlls, coach Frank Pulice said.

"It's not that bad," Pulice said of the injury.

Nunez has thrown for six touchdowns and is completing better than 50 percent of his passes.
