Next stop, Oakland

The Prep-dog pulled an all-nighter after covering the Alta Loma at Arroyo Valley game, driving to Santa Cruz and arriving at 6 a.m. Next it's off to Oakland ... where I will visit the parental unit.

At some point I will examine the results from this weekend and tally my hits and misses. There were some surprises Friday night ... at least they were surprises to me.

Some weird spam comments are making it through and I apologize for that, but there's nothing I can do about it at the moment.

Last night I had to edit out (on somebody's comments) a personal attack on a few coaches with some profanity attached. That's not going to cut it. But most of the comments have been good-natured, including the one chiding me for picking Rim of the World to lose. I appreciate them all.
