Reviewing the dog's prep football picks

| | Comments (1)

The Prep-dog is in Santa Cruz now, bleary-eyed and needing a Starbucks fix.

Not that I don't appreciate SoCal, but it's not bad being away from the smog, the Dodger fans and the fire ants for a few days.

I went 26-6 on my prep football picks this past weekend, calling the exact score on Etiwanda beating Chino (41-6) and and Chaffey knocking off Pacific (33-6).

I am now 114-41 overall.

The dog was close on Yucca Valley defeating Arrowhead Christian 38-13 (I predicted 41-13) and Los Osos defeating Kaiser 24-14 (I predicted 21-14). .

Riverside Poly's 16-0 victory over Norco surprised me. I picked Norco, 30-13. Ouch. I also missed badly by predicting Arroyo Valley to defeat Alta Loma. The Braves dominated, 26-0.

Now it's time for a large coffee, or whatever they call it at Starbucks. And, of course, a wall-to-wall day of sports.
