Perhaps some analysis is in order:
What % of elgible voters voted?
What was the breakdown between absentee and voting booth? -for Council? -for Mike Reynolds?
How many dollars per vote for each candidate?
Which support groups won? lost? (eg, developers, police, fire, open space, etc)
How did the Nickel/Ackerman tag-team approach work? Did they get the same number of votes?
Since voters could choose two candidates for Council, the percentages listed above should really be doubled.
The ballots used in this election instructed voters to connect wide dashes with a 'single' line of ink:
How many ballots were invalidated or discarded? What %?
Did a voter who filled in the entire space with ink invalidate her vote?
Why was that instruction there?
And lots more: eg, What does low turnout mean? What was the geographic turnout? Economic profile of turnout? etc.
