Middle College High gets national honor

| | Comments (0) |

The U.S. Department of Education has given Middle College High School the National Blue Ribbon Award.

Middle College High is part of the San Bernardino City Unified School District and on the campus of San Bernardino Valley College. The school allows advanced students to take college-level coursework before graduation, and it's common for teens attending Middle College to earn Associate's Degrees when they graduate.

Middle College is one of 27 California public schools to earn the Blue Ribbon award this year, according to a news release from Jack O'Connell, the state's superintendent of public instruction. No other school in San Bernardino County won the award this go around.
