Photo of San Bernardino police union banner
This was the conversation starter Saturday at the Route 66 Rendezvous.
The police union initiated the move, which is an outgrowth of the open war raging between Chief Michael Billdt and his rank and file.
The banner reads: "Mayor Morris support your cops remove the problem at the top."

where's the banner? (nice plane)
Took a moment to properly resize the photo. Sorry.
Robert
It really said, "Mayor Morris support YOUR cops remove the problem at the top."
You missed a "Y"
problem fixed. thanks for the heads-up.
Robert
When is the next banner going to fly and how many councilman names can we fit on one?
Throw up the universal sign for distress: fly the flag in front of city hall upside-down!
it means, "we've been taken by the enemy!"

SAN BERNARDINO DEFENSE LEAGUE AKA: Police Billdt's loyal managers. Thanks for your thoughts.
LOL
Captain America was so excited about his last post that he had to post it twice.
Why Ventura County? Why not Chicago? I lived there even longer than I did in Ventura?
I was born in Fontana. Back then...long before San Bernardino became San Berbaghdad, Fontana was known as Fontucky.
Oh how the times have changed. Now they have million dollar tract homes. Check that. They did have million dollar tract homes. And San Bernardino is the fourth most dangerous city in California.
It is funny. I once organized a couple of rallies in Baldwin Park. As I kid, I lived there, too. Yet, I was called an outsider and told to get out of their town as well.
For better or worse, I have lived in San Bernardino longer than any other time in any other place. I am sure San Bernardino Defense League remembers watching me help out on dump days and neighborhood cleanup weekends with the Kendall Hills Neighborhood Association with Councilman Chas Kelley (long before he considered me an outsider, too).
Anyway...keep yapping and keep barking. Maybe for Christmas, Santa Claus will bring me a critic with the balls to put their name on post.
Toodles.
the language that mr turner uses it give us a look at his character and persona.
The police union and Rich Lawhead have way too much power. If the powers that be bow to their demand to oust Chief Billdt now, imagine what they will demand and hope to get in the future! No way should they be allowed to dictate who should and should not be their boss!
Dehhh.
