Chinese Democracy

This is kind of San Bernardino-related because, uh, Guns N' Roses played at KROQ's Inland Invasion festival at Devore in 2006.

(FYI: There's some strong language in the song.)

Guns N' Roses hasn't released an album of original material since the pair of "Use Your Illusion" CDs came out in September of 1991. During the past 17 years, GNR has undergone several lineup changes and "Chinese Democracy" has become kind of a running joke among music writers as the long-promised album that never seems to get released.

Now, the band is claiming a Nov. 23 release date. The new song doesn't seem to have the catchiness of "Welcome to the Jungle" or epic aspirations of "November Rain." I don't know if I'll like it more or less after repeated listens.
