San Bernardino police have arrested a 64-year-old man they said shot and killed his boss in a Jack in the Box parking lot Tuesday night.

Jodie Sanders of San Bernardino was taken into custody on suspicion of murder.

Police arrived in the parking lot of the fast food restaurant at 1605 E. Highland Ave. within two minutes of the 6:26 p.m. shooting and witnesses directed officers to the shooter, said Lt. Scott Paterson.

They found Robert Henry Jackson Jr., a 74-year-old San Bernardino man, dead of gunshot wounds.

Jackson owned an ATM business and Sanders worked for him.

It is unsure of what the men were doing in the parking lot.

"They had an argument and our suspect pulled out a gun and shot him," Paterson said.

Jackson is the 26th homicide in the city this year.
