Guess the movie

San Bernardino Public Library officials aren't allowed to name the movies shown during Children's Film Festival, which will be held in November.

The library will show the movies at 10:30 a.m. and 2 p.m. Saturdays throughout November at Feldheym Central Library, 555 West 6th Street.

Things aren't so hush-hush that Library staffers can't provide clues as to which movies will be screened. Here's their announcement, word for word:

November 1: A family of retired superheroes must dust off their super uniforms and practice their super skills in order to rescue the world from a mad scientist who wants total destruction.

November 8: Four pampered animals from New York's Central Park Zoo accidentally find themselves shipwrecked on the exotic island of Madagascar. They must work together to get out of the wild and back home again.

November 15: Join a young girl who wants to be a reporter and writes a story about the hobos in her town during Depression era America. With a compassionate heart she helps a young hobo who is accused of stealing items from houses in her small town.

November 22: A boatload of beloved VeggieTales pals embark on a fun and fresh pirate adventure with their trademark humor and silly songs.

November 29: A young panda dreams of becoming an awesome Kung Fu fighter but must work for his family's Chinese restaurant instead. When a Kung Fu master has a vision of the panda as a fighter, the panda must work hard with the help of other fighters to learn the necessary skills and to believe in himself.
