New Cardenas market open
A Cardenas supermarket, part of a chain that targets Latino customers, has replaced the Albertson's store that once did business near the crossing of 40th Street and Sierra Way.
The store opened Friday, manager Gustavo Camacho said. He's still waiting for sales to pick up.
"It's been a lot of people, but not what we expected," he said.
Camacho said the store plans to hold a grand opening event in the next month or less to draw more customers.

Well if they catered to all residents maybe sales would increase. The language barrier did not help either
From what I've seen it has been pretty busy there. Parking lot has been packed. Oh yeah, and I didn't have a problem speaking to the employees there. Doesn't really seem to be that big of a language barrier.
