San Bernardino's new Youth Symphony, under the direction of concert cellist, Michele Tacchia, performs its premiere concert, "Symphonie Jeunesse," Nov. 2 at the First Presbyterian Church, 1900 N. D St.

The 15 young string musicians, ages 13-17, will perform a program that includes Anton Bruckner's "Requiem," a tribute piece to Frank Plash, a patron of Inland Empire arts.

The free concert is at 3 p.m.
