Could this be yet another example of why the public or voters of this city have little to no respect for the city’s leadership? Mistrust and false information flow from the 6th floor like water from broken water hose. Why should be believe anything the Mayor (or his son) says that is in an official capacity? Should we now expect to see the pending P/D layoff of officers be those who had taken exception to how this Chief lead his department? Is this delayed retirement allowing the Chief to get the last laugh on the no confidence vote that was made public a few months ago? Elections can not come soon enough for San Bernardino.

you hit the nail on the head. The cancer in this city starts from the top with Pat Morris and his son Jim (the liar) Morris. How can we believe Jim Morris left his attorney job to work for free for his ignorant dad. They are raping this city of funds and will kill this city. The police department has no leadership what so ever. Captain Henson should be investigated and arrested (your children would have been). Kimball is the "Smartest kid in the class" so he thinks. He is an ass to everyone and if he is smiling at you then beware. Billdt is just a coward. He is thumbing his nose at the members of his department and the citizens of this city because he works for a coward mayor who cant control him. He is only worried about building his retirement so he can get hired somewhere else and rape that system. Weinberg is a visitor reaping 25,000.00 a month from the citizens of this city and he amounts to nothing more than a hired gun for the mayor. What a shame. Citizens stand up. DOJ we need you at the police department as soon as possible. Joe Baca where are you when we need help. Senator Boxer we need your help at this city and the police department and we need it now. Stand up and do something.

All your credibility went down the toilet , when you asked for "Joe ( give the illegals citizenship,Maldef freindly) Baca, and "Take away our 2nd amendment rights, close off our deserts and mountains to freedom of visiting without paying a fee and give environmentalists full power to impede business growth and restrict our ability to not depend on foriegn oil from our enemies", Boxer?????
Your comments were interesting up to that point. However, since you are in agreement with reader Bob, I am impressed that your comments would make his comments suspect.
I wonder if he really needed your support and where your allegiances are?
Reader Bob may want to thank you for your support and your desire to further restrict US citizens rights and giving non citizens and illegals more rights than we have.
Go fly your green, red and white flag, while illegals trample all over our laws.
Your true colors have flown high with your comments.

While the elections can't come soon enough is there going to be a candidate to run against Pat Morris?
The other problem is all of the "drug court graduates" families will still be voting for Pat......and they certainly would like to see less uniforms around San Bernaghetto.....
We need a candidate for Mayor that is going to take control of this madness and get rid of the social programs like OPERATION PHOENIX that are sending this city into a tailspin. Why are we funding Operation Phoenix when we are laying off Police Officers? So, he's closing one of them....they are all a waste. It'd be better to keep the pools open this summer than waste money on Phoenix. That bird has been roasting over the coals for a while and I'd say it's done.....
