Meetings to discuss food assistance set for Friday, Saturday

Rep. Joe Baca's office has announced that the Democratic Congressman is hosting a series of informational meetings on SNAP, the federal assistance program formerly known as food stamps.

The meetings are scheduled to be held from 9 to 11 a.m. and 1:30 to 3:30 p.m. Friday at the San Bernardino County Performance, Education & Resource Center, 295 East Caroline St., Suite C, San Bernardino

A third meeting is scheduled for 9 to 11 a.m. Saturday at the same location.
