Mackey said the food program was started in cooperation with First 5 San Bernardino. The nonprofit plans to distribute food - and teach a money management course - on future Tuesdays and Thursdays.

Westside Brighter Vision Foundation is at 409 West 16th St. Mackey said the next food distribution is scheduled to take place from 12:30 to 2:30 p.m. Tuesday.
