Community cleanup on Westside

| | Comments (2) |

A trio of Westside neighborhood associations have announced that they plan to meet Saturday for a neighborhood cleanup.

The triumvirate - California Gardens Neighborhood Cluster Association, Terrace West Neighborhood Cluster Association and Mount Vernon Neighborhood Cluster Association - has the collective name of 6Cess. The 6Cess name is an acronym for 6th Ward Community Environment & Safety Supporters.

Participants are scheduled to meet from 7 a.m. to noon at Anne Shirrells Park, 1367 North California Street. Those helping out are advised to bring a rake, shovel and gloves.

DUDE! I took my trash out today and did the weeding, TOO! OMG! I'll do the dishes later... Just kidding. I think it's a great idea to clean up the neighborhood.
