ACORN organizer rips video

SAN BERNARDINO -- The head organizer for California ACORN says a new video that appears to show a staffer at the organization's San Bernardino office is fake journalism.
The video, which was posted shortly before 2 p.m. Tuesday on a Web site called Big Government.com, shows a female ACORN employee talking to a man who claims to be a pimp interested in establishing a brothel where underage immigrant prostitutes would turn tricks in order to raise money for political activity.
The woman, identified on the video as Tresa Kaelke, appears on posted footage to be interested in cooperating the plan. However, California ACORN head organizer Amy Schur said the video is a gross misrepresentation of what actually happened.
"In this video, there are two actors who come into our office and who were messing with us. And our employee was messing with them," Schur said.
She said that the complete and unedited video needs to be released to the public.
Schur said that in a moment not shown on the edited video, Kaelke asked the undercover "pimp" if he was joking and then proceeded to play along with the joke.
Furthermore, Schur said that Kaelke will sign an affidavit stating that she was not seriously entertaining the idea of cooperating with an apparent attempt to establish a house of prostitution.
"She (Kaelke) asked if they were joking and asked if they were reporters. They said they weren't reporters and they aren't. This is not legitimate news," Schur said.
Schur's statements follow comments from ACORN office supervisor Christina Spach, who said Kaelke was afraid of the "pimp" and "prostitute" who broached the prostitution ploy at ACORN's San Bernardino office.
The Big Government.com video identifies the "pimp" as James O'Keefe and the "prostitute" as Hannah Giles. O'Keefe and Giles could not be reached immediately for comment.

Tresa Kaelke's mouth ran like a clapper bone in a goose's a$$. Afraid? Man, is ACORN trying to cover their butts!!!!
Sorry ACORN, you may have learned lying from the best, your former lawyer, but even he is getting caught up in his lies!
California is an all party state, except in RARE cases. If this was indoors, the reporters could get into a lot of legal trouble. If ACORN is involved in that crap, SHAME ON THEM! THEY MAKE THE REST OF US WHO ARE TRYING TO DO GOOD OUT THERE LOOK BAD!
ACORN has always helped families in the Inland Empire with foreclosures. These are hard working families and they trust ACORN. It's clearly seen that Kaelke was making up the story so that the actors also fell for the same trick. The police even states that she has not killed anyone and that her ex-husband is very much alive. Therefore giving no creditability to the story. In addition, if she did have a part in a successful prostitution business without ever getting caught why on earth would she be working for ACORN? I would really want to see the whole video without the sudden cuts, there's more than meets the eye here. If she really is going to be look at in a negative way because of her untruth story then the "reporters" should also be treated the same way because truth or untruth they also admitted in cameras illegal activities. There seems to be a good opportunity for ACORN to fire back with a lawsuit against them due to invasion of privacy.
Acorn IS a criminal enterprise using so-called help for the communities as a front to promote any and all types of activism to promote socialism in this country. Now,they are running for the tall grass. These two journalism students conducted a low budget operation and accomplished in a few weeks what the mainstream media would never do; take on the very organization that helped propel Barak Obama to the White House. The evidence of that is, they still will not report any of it.
They will do what they always do, attack the messenger and ignore the story.
In my travels through the city of San Bernardino working with a non-profit ACORN has been less than reputable. I have been told by several homeowners that ACORN demanded a monthly fee to "join" - in case they needed help. Ten dollars may not seem like much but to some families that will feed the kids for a week. I have yet to meet someone that ACORN actually helped.
