There you go Joe, All that money from the Unions. No other contributions from friends, family, small donors. Not very impressive. And, with all this Union money, from most who live out of town, you have not spent a dime in San Bernardino. But then again, Joe, you are a new arrival and don't know anybody else.

Hey Sally, nice editorial in yesterday's Sun about repeat DUI offenders. Think Mr. Shorett will need one of those new ignition locks?

God forbid anyone NEW to come here and want to do good. Joe and his wife are do-gooders. They're good people. I like them a lot. When a woman grows her hair out just to donate it to kids with cancer, it's giving a little more than just money, you know? This couple is dynamic. I like that about them: good budgeting.

Dear Mr. Pine, Editor, San Bernardino Sun:

It has been brought to my attention by the City Clerk's Office that Jason Desjardins has not, as of this a.m., filed any of the required forms regarding his campaign organization (Form 410) or the required filing, declaring donations and expenditures (Form 460), nor a Form 470, declaring he is not going to spend more than $1000. These filings are required by the Political Reform Act of 1974. My understanding is that the City Clerk has written Mr. Desjardins a letter requesting him to come into compliance. He has yet to respond to the Clerk's letter.

Mr. Desjardins has made a statements that he was all for "transparency" in government, although he has not filed any of these forms. Jason also says he is for eliminating blight and graffiti even though his business, Big Z towing, has numerous code violations which has been brought to your attention before. If you dont believe me, go look for yourself. It just seems very odd to me that Mr. Edwards has not followed-up on these matters. It seems to me that your newspaper owes it to the voters of the 2nd Ward and the citizens of San Bernardino, to put Mr. Desjardins on record regarding these obvious violations of State and City laws. No one, not Jason or any other candidate, should

Gee Joe, you sound like a Fire groupie! Are you running for councilmember or union mouthpiece? Your inexperience and naivete is showing. With the amount of money the union gave you it sure sounds like you promised something in return...not very Christian or patriotic as you profess to be!

Joe,
suggest you be careful who you bed down with in council support. Mr. Kelley , I am told, pulled some huge funds from our ward when no one was watching our ward's cookie jar and repaired Kendall drive. Is he going to pay us back for your support also? Who's lining whose pockets???
Sounds like he wont have it to give back.
Ask the VNA leadership for his bragging on this little transfer of funds. I guess he still had enough for some new center in his ward, but took ours for his street repairs. I think Derry put him wise to the money being there and how to get it. Thanks Neil, for your not protecting our money, even though you were leaving. Not a nice farewell on your part.
HHHMMMMMMMMMM?????????
