Brehaut impresses at US Army all-American combine

Los Osos quarterback Richard Brehaut flew to San Antonio, Texas this weekend to take part in the junior combine held in conjunction with the US Army All-American all-star game this past Saturday.

Brehaut, according to’s Brandon Huffman relayed through Upland assistant coach Mike Esquivel, had the strongest performance of the West quarterbacks in the combine, building off a junior season in which he threw for 2,248 yards and 22 touchdowns while adding 556 yards and five TDs rushing. Brehaut receiving first-team all-Baseline League honors, along with second team all-Inland Valley and third team All-County honors.

Upland junior quarterback Josh Nunes and Los Osos junior running back Arby Fields were also invited to the combined according to Esquivel, but did not attend.
