Two more for Toro

REV is up against it now, as an RBI single by Donohoe and a wild pitch plated two more El Toro runs. Both plays came via relief pitcher Jeremy Perez, who relieved Chatwood with one out after Chatwood issued a walk to Jensen.

Perez, a reliable late-inning left-hander for the Wildcats, induced a fly to right, but walked Fierro and gave up a single to Donohoe, which scored Jensen. The single was booted in left, allowing Fierro to go to third. That proved costly, as a high wild pitch allowed Fierro to score before REV got out of the inning.

4-0 El Toro going into the bottom of the sixth.

No real change

Chatwood induced two groundouts to short before giving up his fourth hit, a single by Arenado to left. However, Arenado was gunned down on an attempted steal of second by REV catcher Paul Eshleman to end the inning.

2-0 El Toro going into the bottom of the fifth.
