Lott to be honored Saturday

Ronnie Lott will be honored at Eisenhower High School as part of their 50th anniversary celebration Saturday, as the Ike football field will be named after the former graduate, who was a Hall of Fame safety for the San Francisco 49ers, Los Angeles Raiders and New York Jets.

Lott will be honored at a ceremony Saturday night and will be one of eight former Ike graduates inducted into the Eisenhower Hall of Fame during a 6:30 p.m. ceremony according to Rialto Unified School District Public Information Office Syeda Jafri. Five of those are athletes, as joining Lott will be current Denver Broncos offensive lineman Ryan Clady, former Green Bay Packers cornerback Craig Newsome, the late David Lang — a former running back for the St. Louis Rams — and former Major League Soccer player Ted Chronopoulous.
