2. Ohio State (2) – Buckeyes roll Eastern Michigan and will likely do the same with Illinois.
3. Boise State (6) – Broncos whip Oregon State to move back up to where they were two weeks ago.
4. Oregon (3) – Defense looked shaky in win over Arizona State
5. Nebraska (4) – Huskers moved down after sleepwalk win over South Dakota State.
6. TCU (5) – Uneven win over SMU drops TCU a spot.
7. Florida (9) – The Gator defense is starting to grow on me. They’ll sell me outright with an upset of Alabama this week.
8. Stanford (12) – Stanford keeps killing everyone in its path. Huge game with Oregon is on deck.
9. Oklahoma (8) – Another scare against an inferior team drops the Sooners again.
10. Arizona (10) – Wildcats survive letdown against Cal to stay undefeated.
11. Auburn (15) – Sweep of the state of South Carolina vaults Tigers.
12. Utah (13) – Another rout bumps Utah up a step.
13. Wisconsin (14) – Badgers have best test on the road at Michigan State.
14. LSU (20) – Tigers’ defense is one of the best in the nation. If only they had a QB.
15. Arkansas (10) – Razorbacks fall after blowing golden opportunity to Alabama.
16. USC (16) – Hey, at least the Trojans didn’t drop this week.
17. Miami (Fla) (18) – The U’s defense was impressive in victory over Pitt.
18. Iowa (19) – Hawkeyes responded nicely from Arizona loss with 45-0 rout of Ball State.
19. Michigan (22) – Wolverines didn’t need Denard Robinson to gain over 700 yards this week.
20. South Carolina (17) – Tough loss to Auburn drops Gamecocks.
21. Florida State (23) – Seminoles get shutout over Wake Forest.
22. Penn State (25) – PSU outlasts Temple in deceivingly tough test.
23. Texas (7) – UCLA’s “Rout 34” causes Longhorns to plummet.
24. Michigan State (NR) – Spartans defeat Northern Colorado without coach Mark Dantonio.
25. Nevada (NR) – Wins over California and BYU bring Wolfpack into poll.
