Yucaipa star junior soccer player Kodi Lavrusky verbally committed to Stanford last week, according to a call received tonight from Thunderbirds soccer coach Sheila Huggins. Lavrusky is already the school’s all-time leader in goals scored, having scored 92 after getting a hat trick in tonight’s 4-1 victory over Redlands. She is a two-time All-Sun first-team pick, being named the Most Valuable Player as a freshman in 2009.
