Sharpe does it again, Rialto going to state finals

For the second time in as many meetings with Buena, Janae Sharpe made a buzzer-beater to give RIalto the victory. This time, Rialto’s 44-42 win vaulted the Knights into the Division II state championship game.
Sharpe’s basket with 8.5 seconds to go tied the score 42-42. Then Denae Williams took a charge with 2.8 seconds to go. Sharpe then caught a long inbounds pass and hit a runner from the free throw line as time expired.
Rialto is headed to the state finals for the first time in school history. They will play on Friday at 6 p.m. at Arco Arena in Sacramento

  • Well Well Well, the Rialto girls finally get a chance to play with the big dogs. St. Mary’s has a full/half court press you’ve never seen before. Their toughest games are against themselves in practice. But anyway welcome to our house next week in Sacramento. But on the way stop by La Puente and ask the Bishop Amat team what they think of the Rams press. You see, the Rams only wiped them out by a mere 45 points in setting a state record for margin of victory. Practice hard girls
